Saturday night unexpectedly became a star studded hip hop affair at the birthday bash for Hip hop legend Peter Gunz of “Peter Gunz & Lord Tariq” who’s Uptown anthem song made it to top ten on billboards. The group was also very instrumental in launching Shaquille Oneals Recording career in the 90’s.

To start, the gala was held at the Gallery in Le Poison Rouge night club on Bleeker street in lower Manhattan. Upon arrival you were ushered downstairs to a dim lit underground room which felt like a scene right out a 90’s hip hop movie, Which I then learned was the intent. Peter Gunz takes the stage in a Black sleek Tuxedo and thanks the crowd coming, Then relays the message “This is grown and sexy if your here for mumble rap, this ain’t it,! The crowd chuckles then cheers in agreement.
